Planned Parenthood's mission is to provide voluntary family planning services and education that enhance personal and social understanding of human sexuality. We advocate public policies that guarantee reproductive rights and access to health care. And, we support and encourage advances in reproductive technology.

NORML's mission is to move public opinion sufficiently to legalize the responsible use of marijuana by adults, and to serve as an advocate for consumers to assure they have access to high quality marijuana that is safe, convenient and affordable.


Direct Relief is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization with a stated mission to "improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergency situations by mobilizing and providing essential medical resources needed for their care."


Our mission is to create equal access for cannabis businesses and promote economic empowerment for communities of color by creating policy considerations, social programming, and outreach initiatives to achieve equity for the communities most affected by the war on drugs.


NuLeaf Project's mission is to build intergenerational wealth via the legal cannabis industry for the communities disproportionately harmed by cannabis criminalization – Black, Indigenous, and Latina/o/x communities.


Cannaclusive is a consulting firm created to facilitate fair representation of minority cannabis consumers by celebrating the cultures of this thriving community through curated experiences, groundbreaking insights, thoughtful content and dynamic visuals.

The Last Prisoner Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to cannabis criminal justice reform. Through legal intervention, public education and legislative advocacy, we work to redress the past and continuing harms of our country's unjust and ineffective approach to drug policy.


Our mission is to engage young people in the creative process in order to shape a society of creative, confident and collaborative individuals.

Black Feast is a food and art event celebrating Black artists and writers. In the summer of 2020, Black Feast launched a new project—Love Letters to Black Folks—a free event offering plant-based desserts, care packages and love letters to the Black community. All donations go towards providing delicious food for the community and labor costs to pay their incredible staff.


The Free Black Women’s Library is a social art project and traveling book collection that celebrates the brilliance, diversity, and imagination of Black women writers. Founded by OlaRonke Akinmowo, the library provides an inclusive and accessible space for reading, writing, learning, resting, creating, and connecting. The library features a collection of over 3000 books by Black women as well as free monthly programming that includes workshops, performances, film screenings, book talks, and radical conversations on race, gender, art and culture.

Nolef Turns’ mission is to reduce recidivism by helping those with court and justice involvement successfully thrive post-conviction. Their goals are to fight against the unjust judicial system and to help end mass incarceration while supporting individuals, families, and communities affected by incarceration.
